Congratulations on being elected into the Order of the Arrow. You were selected by your fellow Scouts for having exemplified what it is like to be a Scout both in and out of your Troop. The Order of the Arrow is Scouting's National Honor Society. Its members use the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives to help guide them in all that they do.

To become a member of Tataliya Lodge #614, you must go through the Ordeal Induction. The Ordeal weekends are held typically during the summer or fall seasons. You have only one year to attend an induction weekend before your invitation runs out. If your invitation does run out, you must be elected again. The fee of $50 covers a lodge flap, OA sash, OA handbook, food for the weekend, and your dues for the next two years. If the fee must be paid upon arrival at camp,

please pay in cash.

All candidates must eat a good meal before arriving Friday night prior to arrival at 6:00pm. Your Saturday meals are provided. We will be done Saturday night at about 7:00pm. Scouts have the option of staying over Saturday night as well to avoid a late drive. You must also BE PREPARED for all weather conditions. You are asked to bring the following:

  • Tarp
  • Work Clothes and Gloves
  • Boots or Sturdy Shoes
  • Bathroom Kit (toothbrush, soap, towel)
  • Sleeping Bag & Pad
  • Spending Money for Trading Post
  • Scout Uniform
  • Flashlight

Note: DO NOT bring extra food with you. We do not want any issues with wildlife.

The weekends below are your opportunities this year to become a member:

May 27-28: Ordeal Weekend at Camp Fife

June 24-25 : Ordeal Weekend at Camp Bonaparte
