Scoutmasters and Unit Leaders: Thank you for choosing to attend summer camp in the Grand Columbia Council. We are excited about the opportunity to provide your Scouts with a great summer camp experience. Camp Bonaparte provides your Scouts the outdoor experience of a lifetime. We recognize all the work you do, as a leader of Scouts, to make a positive difference in the lives of youth. Our summer camp programs are designed to support you in your effort to strengthen your Scouts, patrols, and your troop. Any contact with the Scouting program, no matter how brief, will have a positive impact on the life of a young person. We are looking forward to your troop’s arrival at camp. There are a lot of things that need to happen for your Scouts and leaders to have the ultimate summer camp experience. Please take time to review this Leaders’ Guide and our COVID-19 Policies & Procedures as you plan for your week of summer camp. Be sure to share important information with your Scouts and their families. Again, thank you for joining us for this special summer of Scouting. We are looking forward to providing you and your Scouts with the best summer camp experience possible. Have a great summer!

The Grand Columbia Council understands that there are times that cancellation of camp registrations are necessary; family emergencies, injuries, sickness, etc. If a scout is already registered and paid to go to camp and it is necessary because of the noted reasons to cancel their reservation, the cancellation must be put in writing and sent to the Yakima Service Center at least two weeks before the attended camp starts. Individual refunds, minus $100 per person, will be issued to the unit (not the parents) after the final week of the camp season. If the council is not notified of a cancellation prior to attending camp there will be no refund given.
